It's Aang's first day of college. He doesn't know anyone and he's nervous for what's to come. No connections. No anyone. But that can change. It's the first day of the fall term and a lot can happen in between then and June when school lets up. I doubt anyone will ever find this story or read this but if you do, I have two things to say: (A) I'll be updating whenever I can. A girl trapped in a block of ice. Sound familiar? When the fire nation attacked the Southern Air Temple, they trapped a single Airbender because of her incredible power. Her lemur, Kita, had stayed with her. Air benders started to attack the ship she was on, not realizing she was on there. She fell from the ship, in a huge chain locking her arms by her waist. When she hit the water she felt a huge amount of power flood into her. The water froze around her and Kita keeping them there for 100 years. Kind travelers found her but could not unfreeze her. They brought her back to the temple hopping it would work. It wasn't until 3 stange people rescue her. But one of them isn't a stranger. (Sorta follows story)

Hale was a sixteen year old living on her own in the woods outside of where the Air Nomads used to be. When she was ten she ran from her home of the earth kingdom seeking adventure. Already mastering earth bending, she would teach herself Air bending from the monks in the Air temple when they taught classes. She mastered it at twelve and then picked up lightning bending. Although she couldn't be taught by a teacher, she focused her own spirit and was able to master it at the age of fifteen. She is known as the "White Assassin" because she takes the lives of evil people who take from the innocent, and does it in all white clothing. However, when she's out on the job and meets the last known air bender, how will she react? -- I do not own Avatar: The Last Airbender, I only own Hale and her role in the story. *Warning* Mild Language! I am only using the characters, setting and events from the show. I am mix matching it to make it my own in a way but not plagiarizing it. For example, the air nomads were wiped out hundreds of years before the discovery of the avatar in the show (if I'm wrong I apologize I haven't seen the show in quite a while). I'm placing the plot where Hale learned from them for years and then they were wiped out. Without changing a lot, I moved the avatar's awakening to earlier which is how and why Aang and Hale actually meet. I'm sorry if this is confusing for some people but I felt like I had to explain. Katara and her twin sister Kayta are benders from the Southern Water Tribe. However they do not bend the same element. Katara is a waterbender, but Kayta is a firebender. That's not the only thing that is different about Kayta though. She has two different colored eyes, silver and amber, red hair, and she did not inherit the olive skin that her whole family has. Kayta and her sister are extremely different, but they both want the same thing. To learn how to bend properly. Maybe helping the Avatar will help Kayta understand why she is so different, and how to control such a difficult element.
