I was surprised when she ran her hands down my abs, almost to the waist band of my pants. "Mila," I warned, watching her bite back a smile. There was unmistakable tension around us and I had no idea where it came from. Maybe it was the alcohol. I stared down at her, watching the sultry look on her face. "What are you doing to me," I muttered, resting my forehead against hers. I barely had a chance to blink before her lips were pressed against mine. My hands found their way to her hips, gripping them tightly as she tugged at my hair. Spinning her around, I pinned her against the wall. It felt like my lungs were going to burst as I pulled away, breathing hard. Mila gazed up at me, her eyes glazed over and cheeks pink. She reached up, wiping what I'm assuming was her lipstick from my lips. I couldn't help but lean down and press my lips against hers again. It was almost as if I was addicted to the way she fit against my body. "Ajax, we're both drunk," she gasped as I bit down on her ear gently. We could deal with the consequences later. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- TW: Mentions of Anxiety, Depression, and some suicidal thoughts Some Mature content - I'll put a warning before ;) Highest ranking in Romance - #8 12/20 Highest ranking in Dance - #1 12/22

After spending two years of trying to keep every person she meets at arms length what will she do when the new guy just can't take a hint? Ashton McClain is charming, arrogant and extremely good looking. He's a perfect guy and he seems hellbent of getting to know the real Scarlett. *completed Navigating your way through an American high school is hard enough without adding an accent into the mix. British girl Evie seemingly had the perfect life. That was until the car accident that left her an orphan and only child. Her parents friends offer to take her in but that would mean moving to California, going to high school and making new friends. It's not all bad though. Especially as Harrison the most irritating, good looking guy she's ever met and the rest of the soccer team insist on bombarding their way into her life. They say when one door closes another one opens. What people forget to mention though, is that most of the time you'll be violently shoved through the new door with barely a moment to breath.

"So you're saying that if I kissed you right now, you wouldn't feel anything?" He asked, taking slow, purposeful steps closer to me, but I couldn't go farther back as I felt an obstruction behind me, a desk. "Uh...totally," I cussed myself for stuttering. "Okay then, let's test that theory, shall we?" And his lips landed on mine. Sam and Ryan had been best friends when they were little and couldn't do without each other. They pinky swore they would never leave each other, but then Sam moved, breaking that promise. And now she's back, and Ryan isn't entirely happy to see her. Bookcover by @userpewpew
