A group of people are trapped inside of a circus-themed virtual reality game, overseen by an erratic AI ringmaster named Caine. They are forced into going to these scripted adventures, and the question is... will they get through them all and escape?

After the events of episode 9 (The Last Act), Jax finds himself in Hell after everything he's done to each cast member of the circus; he's LITERALLY in Hell, not figuratively. Deciding what to do now in the afterlife, Jax sees a flyer for a hotel about redeeming sinners so they can go to Heaven. Wanting to see if this could bring him entertainment AND redemption, he chooses to go over there. However, as Jax's time at the hotel fails to make him laugh, he goes outside and spots a billboard about killing people in the living world (Earth). Vee is just like any other video game hero as he manages to take down his arch-enemy and save his world. Everything was better.... Until it wasn't. Now with the powers of his home world, Neo Space, in the palms of his hands, Vee joins the Farcade and ventures with Kit, Kaboodle, and many other heroes as they venture to counter the Syntax and stop the destruction of the Gameoverse by... helping the VILLAINS. Seems like he'll really have to "get his game on" in order to make it in this new life and found family.

After winning over control of the Hourglass, Liu Kang assumes his role as Keeper of Time, forging his New Era. After eons of peace between the realms, ideologies grow, bringing in mounting tensions between the realms. When a mysterious adversary arrives, Liu Kang soon realizes that not only are the realms in danger, but so is his new timeline and all of reality. This story will essentially be almost similar to how I did with the Marvel Rivals story except with the Mortal Kombat 1 characters and yes this is set around my MK1: Spectral Wolf story!

Gameoverse takes place in a multiverse of video game worlds; within the Gameoverse, if a world's hero successfully defeats its main villain and completes the game, that world proceeds to be annihilated. Two rival groups, the Farcade and the Syntax, struggle against each other to either prevent or facilitate this destruction, respectively. The series follows Kit and Spiral, two Farcade agents who travels from world to world attempting to save them by helping each game's villains, while contending with the Syntax, who assist heroes to expedite their worlds' annihilation.
