Shrek felt awful lying to Fiona, but he was so gay for Rumplestiltskin he couldn't help it. But when he got Fiona pregnant everything was ruined. Shrek had to thwart Rumplestiltskin's plan, and he never forgave himself. Now, in the present day, Shrek would sneak out at night, searching for another gay being to make him happy.
