The war never happened. All the couples got married and had kids. Divergents are still a big threat, but there is a bigger threat now. Resurgent. They can control their fears, like a divergent, but someone who is resurgent can control and block out pain. Resurgence is extremely rare, but very threatening to the faction system. A resurgent has aptitude for all five factions. When Tris and Tobias' daughter, Al, finds out she is resurgent, she goes through the challenges of trust and loyalty, to find who she really is Veronica Roth wrote the original story. Some of the characters belong to her.

This is nothing like all of the other faction high stories. It's a bit different in my mind. i'm thinking about changing the name but i haven't thought of a good name for it yet. --- what if the war never happened? they all start to go to school, one problem. Tris and Four aren't together anymore ever since Eric caught them kissing the night before her fear-landscape. Eric knew that something was up when Tris ranking was #1 he thought that she was divergent but found her and Four kissing and forgot about the divergence for a while, so did Tris until something bad happened.
