Since Netflix is too much of a coward to give Shirbert a season 4, I'm going to do it myself. Anne and Gilbert are finally happily together, yet they're hundreds of miles away from each other for college. Letters are the only way they sustain themselves. What will they do when the pain of being away from each other becomes too unbearable?

Ever since the Avonlea pantomime, Anne Shirley Cuthbert had been longing for chance to get back on the stage. But how will she cope when she finally gets that opportunity? And how will she cope with the pressure of the role that she has been given? This story is based of the Anne with an E show.

A sudden event cuts the year at Queens short for Anne and Diana as news from Avonlea arrives in a telegram. Gilbert and Anne have not seen each other in over 9 month's and their relationship evolves awkwardly from rival, to friends to romantic. Jerry and Diana's paths cross in an unexpected way which creates tension with so many things now changed. Disclaimer: the characters in this story do not belong to me.
