this is a story about hiccup running away when he had to kill the monstrous nightmare. i know that a lot of these storys start the same way but i'm now changing what happened in that battle ring that day. this book wont be like any of the run away books. there will be some hiccstrid and some deep emotion in this book.

Astrid, Astrid Hofferson. A 19 year old girl, she newly graduated from high school. She lives with her mother only since her father left when she was small and started his own family. His father was mayor of Berk city and his mom had animal shelter, they have been dating since freshman year of high school and everything was good, they were the power couple, but a prom night changes everything.

At the age of four Y/n was taken by a Shadow fury to the Dragon Sanctuary where she discovered she could understand dragons. From then on she would be raised by dragons. A year later, Valka was brought to the Sanctuary by Cloudjumper. Valka then helped raise Y/n while learning how to train, fly, protect, and live with dragons. There will be no romance in this story. This story takes place in How to train your dragon 1 and the series. Dusty Loughlin, a young warrior, lived in the island of her Tribe. But a storm broke out and dragons attacked their village. Dusty was luckily saved by her father but was left behind to defend the village. Dusty and her mum both were on one boat, but the storm was too strong and it pushed Dusty away from the boat and wash ashore, where her entire story begun.

Hiccup is banished from Berk for befriending a dragon, a Vikings mortal enemy, rejected for the last time, Hiccup leaves Berk after the Vikings spit on his vision of peace with dragons and he is the only one who knows where the dragons nest is and the monster that sleeps within its mountains. Ten years later, the Barbaric Archipelago has heard of a new tribe called the 'Strike Clan' which is led by Hiccup and the island has become very prosperous for both man and dragons. With the dragon raids growing worse however each village pays a visit to the Strike Clan because they posses one man, that can end this madness. That man is the Dragon Master. However not all the tribes wish for the raids to end, the Outcasts and the Berserkers ally themselves and plot something that spells disaster for both man and dragons. Hiccup and his Strike Clan will protect the dragons to death if they have to, but can they stop the alliance between the two deadly tribes? Or is there something darker lurking in the shadows?
