Leanna and Josh have a "soccer relatioship". Both play soccer for their school and both are captains. But everything in their life changes when Leanna's dad dies and when the girls soccer team gets cut. Josh helps Leanna through her dads death and also allows her team to tryout for his team. Their relationship grows stronger even with the ups and downs.
