The sweet irony almost makes Marinette laugh. And to think that the little Parisian had to leave the city of love and reach the city of crime to find true love. Damian, on the other hand, didn't know who to blame. He only knew that he had fallen before the spell of that pair of blue eyes that did not come out of his mind, bringing light to the darkest city in America. Marinette is, despite being hurt, a kind heroine whose soul is as pure as an angel. Damien is generally sullen with everyone. A vigilante who learned what human relationships mean a little late. As fierce as a demon. None of them knows exactly how, but they find their other half in the least likely person. Fate, chance or ...?

Marinette's life is left in the hands of a manipulative green eye'd serpent; her friends, her family, and her crush leaving her to deal with it on her own. Not being able to handle the snake without being used by the well-known magical terrorist, she put herself on the back burner and lets her life be decided by her duties as Ladybug. She doesn't let her emotions show, she doesn't even allow herself to feel. Years later, at the age of 17, Hawkmoth is finally defeated but Marinette's heart is hardened, she isn't the same 14 year old hero. She is stronger in every way possible, now that Paris is no longer calling her name she decides to move to a place that is, a place cursed with Plagg's destruction energy. She make's it her job to cleanse the city, to become a hero needed by the everyday city. That city though is already protected by strong and unrelenting hero's and they make it their job to find out who exactly this spotted hero is. She not only has to deal with that, but also a growing friendship and rivalry with a seemingly feared and popular boy in her school. Damian Wayne Al-Ghul, the son of Gotham's most eligible bachelor and richest man, Bruce Wayne. Damian Wayne is described as many things; skillful, smart, terrifying, angry, blunt, dangerous, and so on. He is not a man you approach to make friends with, he is not a man willing to willingly hang out with people, and he is not a man of idle conversation. He doesn't have the time to talk and make friends, after all he is Robin, one of the protectors of Gotham, and a trained assassin. Although, with his families growing concerns on his lack of friends he is forced out of the mantle of Robin. Now he has to make a ' change' he has to make a ' friend' and when a blue-eyed girl- who seems to have no problem making friend's- come into his life he decides that she will be his friend as she seem's to be the only one adequate enough.

Marinette has finally had enough the bullying, the lies, and of false friends. So she moves to Neo Gotham with the permission of her parents, who at first were reluctant to let their daughter move to sch a city till word had gotten out that after forty years a new Batman has taken up the cowl. Marinette leaves for a new city a clean slate with her designing studio and the miraculous box having already taken the Cat Miraculous from an unworthy Adrien and placing Hawkmoth and Mayura in jail once and for all. Now Meet Terry McGinnis who's defenately gotten the short end of the stick in life in general. His father died just a few months ago, his relationship with Dana is on the fritz, and to add to it all he's currently the Batman/ the personal assistant of an elderly Bruce Wayne. Will meeting each other be just what Terry and Marinette need for the rough times to come? Or will it be the worst mistake in history?

Marinette is the Star of the Order of the Miraculous, the still-in-training head, as well as the True Ladybug leading the Court of Miracles. After years at Hawkmoth's mercy, Marinette has decided that enough is enough and is reaching out to Batman, the detective of detectives to help her track down the villian's true identity. What better way to do this than a field trip to Gotham? Damian, the bloodson and heir to both the Cowl and the Demon's Head, wants nothing to do with the French Class who has won the Wayne Enterprises Summer Internship, yet his father insists he needs better interpersonal skills. He supposes it won't kill him to try to work with this supposedly skilled class president if it means that everyone will get off his back for being 'aggressively asocial' (although he will still keep NDAs on standby). A seal of fate, a blood right, and a hidden prophecy lead Marinette and Damian on a rollercoaster of emotions, humourous misunderstandings, and comeuppance -- and marriage?! ___ Basically my attempt at a soulmate AU, full of just about every Damianette cliche and trope I can think of. Marinette and Damian grew up in the league together, him the heir to the demon and her his beloved. They were inseperatable, always together weather in training or sleep, nothing could keep them apart. They were opposites but they loved eachother, yin and yang. Marinette an intelligent, extroverted sunshine found by the league trained to kill but still sweet. Damian a smart introverted boy, raised in the leage to be the next leader he has a heart of thick ice only his sunshine can melt. One fateful day deathstroke attacked causing the fated duo to have to separate. Marinette was sent to live with ex-assasins in France while Damian was sent to Gotham with his father. Unknowing when they'd meet again they gave eachother something to remember them by. Years later Marinette is stuck in a class full of dumb sheep. During her stay in paris she had made friends, or so she thought till an attention seeking munipulator named Lie-la- I mean Lila. Her lies prove that they weren't, proves that they also aren't to smart considering one internet search can prove her wrong. Marinette looking for an exscape from her dense class she finds Bruce Wayne is hosting a class trip to Gotham. What needs to be done to enter just happens to be one of her specialities. Marinette and her new gang go on a trip to Gotham for a break from Lila crap. They meet a certain family there, the Waynes. Later, they go back with their class, Lila lies (No surprise there) and she gets busted by the Waynes and Marinette's gang.
