Buster Moon and his cast are going to Redshore City! Just one problem: after pitching an idea for a show with Clay Calloway with no way of knowing where he is, they have to figure something out.

Buster Moon wants to throw a singing competition that can hopefully save his theater. It gets the attention of not just every animal in town. Jamie, a gorilla, was adopted by Rosita and Norman, her parent's friends, after they died in a car accident. She and Rosita audition and they make it in. But as rehearsals go on, Jamie and another gorilla, Johnny, start having feelings for each other. Will it all work out or will things go downhill?

It's been a year since the show that saved Buster Moon's theater. Everyone has been doing great; especially Johnny and Jamie. Their relationship has escalated since they confessed their love. Then everything changes when a new group comes to town. The group consists a female giraffe named Courtney, a lion named Ryan, a male frog named Jerry, a female cheetah named Cheyenne, a male rhino named Steve, and another female gorilla named Brooke. (If any of these names are yours, nothing personal; I just came up with them at the top of my head.) They are all amazing singers, but things aren't great between them and the original cast. What will happen when they settle their arguments the theater way? By the way, this will be more centered around Johnny and Jamie. I will have other scenes with the others, but mostly Johnny and Jamie.

It is advised that you read the first book before this one (Discovering Raptor). Delta retired with Clint soon after the battle with Ultron, but when Steve calls Clint in need of assistance for Wanda and Pietro, the two are back into the thick of things.
