Oswald Cobblepot only wants to graduate high school and move on with his life. His sole goal is to remain invisible so he doesn't get bullied. However, his life turns upside down when he meets the friendly yet socially inept Edward Nygma. What he doesn't know is that Ed has dark secrets of his own. Even though Oswald and Ed started off on the wrong foot, the two eventually become best of friends and soon Oswald realizes he's fallen in love with Ed. However, running towards his one true love doesn't go as smoothly as it should. Life seems to have other plans for the two young men. ~~~ "Edward." Oswald greeted through his teeth, slowly facing the boy with the glasses. "Why are you following me?" "I wasn't." Ed said. "I came to socialize with the football team in the shower." Oswald gaped at him. Was he for real? Or was this some kind of an act? "You do realize how weird that sounds, don't you?" Oswald said. Nygma tilted his head slightly, brows furrowed in confusion. "How do you mean?" "Well... socializing in the showers isn't really the best way to--" Oswald huffed, giving up. "Whatever. It's your funeral."

As the stakes grow higher Batman discovers there may be more to the clown prince of crime than meet the eye. They must learn to trust each other before it's too late. Part of him wants Edward to know the truth. Another part of him wants to start over.

Edward feels guilty after realizing how cruel kicking Oswarld out after his return from arkam was. He decides to make up for his mistake by piecing Oswald back into the man he looked up to, the man he loved. Taking care of Oswald and being that close to him day to day led to him easily falling for the bird like man. Can he fix Oswald after what Strange did to him?

Jotaro looks up. The sea is flat, the tide low and the waves are weakly splashing onto the shore. He turns around, treading water, staring at the man by the shore. Kakyoin watches as Jotaro bobs with the waves, his gaze soft, but behind his eyes was something akin to fear, dark and gloomy. Jotaro just wanted to take his hand, and drag him in. After all, there really was nothing to be afraid of.

"You're like a child" he smirked. "What is that supposed to mean?" I asked saddening a little. "It's just, your mood changes at the flip of a coin" he said. "Is that a bad thing" I asked my voice cracking a little to give away my sorrow. "I don't think so" he said.

After settling into his new home, Jotaro discovers that his next door neighbor is his former high school rival, Noriaki Kakyoin. His opinion and feelings about Kakyoin start to change over time.
