She's your average teenage girl who is extremely dense and innocent, due to the fact of a very protective brother by her side. Unless you get her angered.. well, let's just say that's another story. However, because of the incident with Aogiri Tree, her being captured by Yamori and tortured practically everyday, took a huge toll on her mentality. Forcing her to shut away her emotions from everyone else except for her family and friends. One night, Kaori and Kaneki mysteriously disappeared, and reappeared in a different dimension, where there were no ghouls. Instead, it consisted of heroes and villains. While learning about this new world, they were enrolled into UA High, where they met the current students of Class 1-A, and joined in on their journey of becoming heroes.
