Ryuko Matoi, a deliquent transfer student drifting from school to school searching for clues about her father's murder. As she makes her way to Honno City, which brings her into violent conflict with Satsuki Kiryuin, the iron-willed student council president of Honnouji Academy. Suddenly, another student walks among their battle, having to look for Ryuko. A young man in fact, (First Name), who happily greets himself not minding Satsuki standing beside him with a katana. Insulted and agitated of his interruption, Satsuki attempted to kill him... But he counters her by simply weaving his head to the side, millimeters of the blade scathing his neck.
