Ceci suit la saison 10, donc attention aux spoilers. Après la bataille contre les Onis, les ninjas prennent un repos bien mérité. La paix semble vouloir durer sur le monde Ninjago et Sensei Wu commence à s'occuper de l'avenir des ninjas. Car maintenant qu'ils n'avaient plus personnes à combattre ils devaient se trouver une occupation, autre que jouer à des jeux vidéos, s'entrainer, ou encore aller en ville. Pour lui c'était clair, comme de l'eau de roche, les ninjas allaient rattraper leurs retard scolaire et se trouver un métier à exercer tout le temps où ils n'auront pas à sauver le monde Ninjago des forces maléfiques. Aidé par les parents des ninjas il réussit à les convaincre de se rendre à nouveau sur les banc de l'école et une nouvel aventure commence pour les ninjas, calme au début mais qui prend un tournant tout à fait imprévisible... L'accident de Cole, percuté en pleine poitrine par une "armoire à glace", l'apparition d'une ancienne mannequin, au passé troublé, et une lettre dans le casier de Lloyd qui dénonce les désirs de vengeance d'une certaine Allyson et d'un certain Jim à l'encontre de Cole et la fille mannequin... Les ninjas vont devoir faire face au deux ennemis les plus acharné de tout les temps, leur rancune renforcé avec le temps, et leur soif de vengeance encré au fond de leur cœur... La vengeance est un plat qui se mange froid, ça n'en faisait plus de doute... Une aventure où s'emmêlera amour, vengeance et trouble...

Deux ans après la visite de Kaï, Jay, Cole et Zane dans le royaume Oni ainsi que la fin de Garmadon par Lloyd et Nya, les ninjas vivent leur meilleur vie à bord du Bounty, recontruit par les habitants de Ninjago City en signe de remercimant. Cependant, une nouvelle menace pèse sur la ville: Evasion, tempête, enlèvements mais surtout, une nouvelle prophetie qui pourrait bien remettre en cause tout ce pourquoi les ninjas se sont toujours battu. ⚠️: suite direct de la saison 9 avec, un changement : Garmadon est mort et seul quelques fils de Garmadon, Ultra-Violet et Harumi ont survecu et sont enfermé à Kriptarium.
