As the youngest sister of the current Sultan, Eliska has been raised in the harem. But she's been trained not to be a bride, though she has had instruction in the womanly arts, but rather as a spy. To protect her brother and the rest of the family, she must pretend to be someone else entirely in order to keep their lands safe. Tariq is a fixer, with a well deserved reputation in the criminal underworld for being the go-to person for any kind of problem that needs solving and the willingness to do anything to solve his clients problems. Hired to find a boy taken by slavers, he's reminded strongly of his own past and dedicates himself to the search. As his investigation continues, he keeps running into the same pretty girl who attacked him, apologized, and then paid him off all in the same night. Neither can deny that the other is interesting and as their mutual goals begin to converge, a kind of alliance springs up between them. But Tariq is a criminal and Eliska a princess, and whatever else might be growing between them, it might not be enough to overcome their barriers and secrets. If they even manage to keep themselves alive among dark magic, plots, and corruption. NaNoWriMo project for 2015.

I'm standing in the gateway to the larger ballroom, almost too far away for my weak eyes to see the three figures that glide onto the stage. The King and Queen walk side by side until they come to their thrones, the Prince walking about five feet behind and moving towards the smaller throne to the King's left. The King and Queen sit down on their thrones in unison. The Prince doesn't. Even I can see the way his shoulders are bristling, a sort of confused wonder dawning on his face. And I would swear he is looking directly at me. //// Lee Collins wants to help her sister, Lucy. She has a vision of a future away from their dad, where Lucy could be healthy and they would have some chance of happiness. When Lee's only friend helps her sneak into the royal ball on the minuscule chance that an attending doctor would be willing to help, Lee ends up fleeing the party early, chased by none other than her mate. Lee finds herself locked in from all sides, desperate to escape the suffocating implications of a mate but frantic to fight for a future for her sister that she still believes possible. Working in the Royal Palace to save escape money is a terrible idea when you have a controlling father, but it's an even worse idea when the mate that you're avoiding is the Prince. //Marked Mature just in case for violence. general trigger warning. She wasn't looking for redemption. He wasn't interested in salvation. A chance meeting leads to new alliances, but safety is only an illusion. Fate has made its move, but it will only carry them so far. After that you have to choose: fight or die. The world ended the day the dead rose. Can she build a life in what remains or is fate not done yet? (Daryl x OFC) ~ I tried to stay true to the characters, and with the addition of some original scenes, this will follow the TV show (eventually). There will be some minor and major changes along the way. Hope you like them. Enjoy! I don't own/have any rights to TWD or its characters, scenes, etc. However, my characters (especially Alex) and the plot lines I have created are my own. Please do not plagiarize.

I've lived alone for eight and a half years, running from my past. That's a hell of a thing for a shifter to do. Eve Rutledge moves to a new town every year and keeps her head down, never checking in with the local predator pack and intimidating the prey to ignore her. Eight and a half years ago, she saw her brother, sister, and niece killed by a group of warlocks who want her to be next. After escaping, she hid, telling herself she only wanted a quiet life. But her luck finally runs out when the pack in her new town takes an interest in the new comer. The wolf pack may want her allegiance, but Eve will never consent to join any pack. When a Liaison to the Wolf Council comes to town, he brings someone she never thought to see again and sets into motion a series of events the world will never forget. And as much as she wanted to escape the wolves, it seems like this mysterious shifter is bound to them for life. **** Hi guys! *waves* This will evolve into a play on the Arthurian legends - give it some time to get there (I promise it will happen). This is a huge mishmash of a whole bunch of different lore set in modern day so be prepared for a little bit of everything! ~M

In a world where humans coexist with other races, known yet unknown to them, the throes of fate force a young human woman to leave the familiarity of her world and thrust her right into the arms of a scarred alpha. Lillian, a single mother of five-year-old twin boys, was welcomed home one night by the horrors of death and blood. Forced to flee with her children, she ends up on pack land. Her new life in the pack will unravel secrets that will lead her to question everything she knows about herself. Noah is the alpha of his pack. A series of kidnapping disturb the peace of the neighboring territories. In the middle of attempting to solve the issue, a human female drops into his land. Everything about Lillian is a paradox, and Noah doesn't know how to deal with a human who doesn't accept his authority, and who gives life to conflicting emotions in his scarred heart. excerpt: He should kill her. It was only one life, a reasonable price to pay in order to protect their secrets. "You'll die," he repeated, looking down at the fire in her eyes. She took a deep breath, the smell of fear disappearing again. "Take care of my boys." she smiled at him and closed her eyes. Noah's hands lifted. One move. Quick and painless. Simple. Humans were so easy to kill. Her slender neck would break without a real effort on his part. The wolf raged again, Noah's muscles turned rigid, fighting the beast for control. It had never happened before. Noah's hand touched her neck. Her skin was freezing. A lone tear slid out of Lillian's eye. She bit her trembling lip and Noah followed the action. Her body was trembling, from cold or fear, he didn't know. *This book is part of the Blue Flames world. However, it can be read as a standalone.
