Inko Midoriya, lying dead in her own pool of blood with a knife pierced through her heart. At that moment, Izuku Midoriya was broken, and at that moment, he developed a quirk, a trauma induced quirk, shadows. A few years later, he applies for the UA hero course where he meets his former friend. But when Bakugou see's him, he's changed. He was emotionless, or so he thought.
