It is said that only the special humans get werewolf mates. Human mates aren't usually frowned upon in most packs, but as for The Larken Moon pack it's forbidden to claim and accept a human mate. Its been this way for centuries. ---------------- "Something was pulling me toward the cafeteria. Lord knows that I always avoided that place because I hated being around a lot of people at school. Reluctantly I entered the cafeteria. I didn't have any reason to go other than my sudden need to be there, so I just stood by the door. I stood there for about 5 minutes before I realized how stupid I was being. As I turned and walked toward the door I bumped into a guy. "Oh sor-" He started to say before he looked into my eyes and I swear I saw his eyes get a darker shade of his original brown "No it's ok, it was my bad." I said before he scoffed and walked past me. Usually I wouldn't have given a shit but to be honest when he did that I got a pain in my chest that caused me to jerk forward."

Like the Hunger Games series? Then you'll love ''Man Hunt'' When Alice awakes in a small, bare room with nothing more than a letter, a backpack, a change of clothes and some survival gear, she doesn't know what to expect. She has no recollection of how she got to where she is, or even where she is and she can't help but feel frightened about the whole situation. According to the letter addressed to her name, her parents signed her up for a new televised game show in which twelve teenagers will be split into two equal teams. The teenagers will then take part in a slightly modified version of a childhood game they are all quite familiar with for the chance to win a sum of €1,000,000 for every member of the winning team. When Alice meets the rest of her group, they soon realise that they are stranded on an island and they have no other option but to cooperate. They quickly find the instructions and map their team has been supplied with and are forced to begin a game which they fear is darker than it may seem. The twelve teenagers can't be any more different, however they must push their divergence aside and hope that they have what it takes to win the game and return home with the money that could change their lives forever. In a tale of adventure, action and deceit; do Alice and her team have what it takes to leave the island as champions or is there a more sinister fate in store for them? Is this really just a game as their letters describe, or are there darker forces at work behind closed doors?

🚨 DON'T READ THIS VERSION. This story has been rewritten into a separate book with a different title. The new and better version, IN WAVES, can be found on my profile. Please read that one instead! 🚨 __________________________________________ "What would you do if you weren't afraid?" His eyes gazed over my face like smooth green emeralds in the darkness, lingering on my ruby lips momentarily before looking back up again. It wasn't an easy question; maybe it was for some people, but not for me. Starting her junior year of high school, seventeen-year-old Lia thought her plan to date the wealthy football star was enough to break out of her comfort zone for the year, but things don't always go as planned. She had no idea what lay ahead of her when the adventurous, passionate and jaw-droppingly attractive Nate crashes into her life instead, showing her how to live and throwing her into a world of total chaos and heartbreaking romance.
