After PhantomKoopa's defeat and with AngelKoopa protecting ZombieKoopa's mind, PhantomKoopa has had enough. He left ZK's mind and decided to leave the heroes alone for now. But then, he found a mysterious pink gem known as the Phantom Ruby. And as soon as he picked it up, it gave him incredible power. With his new abilities and being known as InfiniteKoopa, he strikes again to get revenge on ZombieKoopa and his friends.
