George has been depressed for a while since a tragic trauma and he feels more worthless everyday. His best friend Clay doesn't know about anything and but he starts noticing Georges pain. George gets more depressed each day and he starts thinking about ending it all. Just when things seem better, Clay messed up so badly that everything collapses again and George falls back so far that he actually tries ending his life.

George and Clay are forced to leave each other's side after their parents fell out over Clay's brother having a boyfriend, they become forbidden to any kind of contact, because of a terrible fight between the two parents. But how long will that last? Neither of their parents are aware that George's and Clay's bond is anything more than a friendship, yet they both manage to form a secret relationship together managing to hide it from George's homophobic parents. At their best friend Sapnap's house they're able to be alone. Just as they think they are safe more problems arise.
