Not that far in the future, The Hunger Games are even bigger than they are today. The government eventually has no choice but to put on one of their own, a slightly altered version, called the Death Games. When the laws of the Hunger Games were laid out, they dictated that every twenty-five years the anniversary would be marked by a Quarter Quell. It would call for a glorified version of the Games to make the fresh the memory of those killed by the districts' rebellion. Now we honor our fourth Quarter Quell. On the one hundredth anniversary, as a reminder to the rebels that the Dark Days only served to tear their families apart, each district will be required to send two sets of siblings. Katniss and Peeta were publicly executed after the Capitol took over again, and District 13 was completely obliterated. Since then, the Hunger Games have been harsher than ever. This is The Hunger Games from Clove's point of view. Clove volunteers to be a part of the 74th Hunger Games, she's been training ever since she was a kid, but things don't go according to what she plans. A major twist happens, something Clove never thought would happen. Clove makes decisions she never thought she'd make. The strangest alliances are formed. Will Clove win the 74th Hunger Games? Will everything actually go according to her plan? So, this story isn't actually following The Hunger Games. It also follows more of the movie rather than the book.
