When Tyler young's crew chief falls ill they have to find a replacement and fast with the upcoming race just a few days away that's where Harley's dad comes in. Brett Holland is an unknown crew chief trying to get into the NASCAR sprint cup series as a crew chief but the truck series is a good start. Brett gets a call to fill in as crew chief for Tyler Young and takes the offer. He brings along his daughter Harley to the firsts race and she meets John Hunter Nemechek who turns her world upside down.

Bella's best friend happens to be the NASCAR up and comer William Byron, so she's always with him when he's at a track, and her parents don't mind her hanging around him because they can tell one day she will end up with him. At one track during a race William realizes that he likes Bella, but doesn't know what to do because he's not sure if she likes him back. At another race as Bella is watching William race she realizes that she likes him and nothing will be the same after.
