Rift, otherwise known as Alex, is a young adult of no certain age working and living in a café that they don't remember owning. In fact, they don't remember much of anything and no amount of thinking brings back even the smallest memory. How old are they? Why are they there? Where did they come from? Why is there an inter-dimensional hole in the ceiling? Why is a knight falling out of it? Why does any of this matter? RIFT is a story about life and identity, taking place in a café bombarded and surrounded by surreal occurrences, characters, joys, and misgivings. It all starts with a hole.
