Maya was your average teenager, but instead of being a human, she was a young and curious phoenix. Maya is usually out in the fantasy-modern world of Usia kicking ass for her bosses, the Society of Fire. However, she was always in her older twin brother's, Flame, shadow, for he was the fourth Harbinger of life. Unable to make a place for herself, Maya is soon given a suicidal mission to uncover the identity of the seventh and strongest Harbinger of the end. Lynx, a socially-withdrawn teenager, was an outlaw in Usia, never accepted anywhere for his being a spawn of a Frost dragon and a vampire. Halfbloods were barely tolerated by purebreeds, so Lynx kept his head down for the sake of others not finding out his secret, a secret that could either destroy Usia, or save it from utter destruction. When the two meets, will trust and hardship be enough to avert an ancient war looming on the horizon, or will Usia shudder under a single being who has the power to control the world itself?

No one in the history of Savages had ever gotten the ability of Mimicry, and many looks down on Ash because of his power, thinking it dishonorable and useless to 'steal' other powers. Ash has mainly kept of trouble, until he was labelled as the 'perpetrator' in a gang fight. In exchange for freedom, Ash was forced to attend Savage Training Academy, or STA for short, where he meets Willow Yu. Willow Yu was the daughter of an extremely wealthy family of nobles, wielding the unique ability of Voice. Her ability allows her to manipulate her voice to a certain extend, and if used correctly may control the minds of people. For years she wanted to get out of her family's shadow, and make a path of her own. Seizing the chance of attending STA, Willow goes to the school all excited, intrigued by the one people call 'Shadow Thief'. However, as the two grow closer together, a deeper conspiracy unravels, and soon Ash and Willow will start to question everything they know and have been taught. How far will the two go to protect the world and their loved ones, even if it means sacrificing each other?
