Virgil Sharpe, a mute homeless street rat, who's been on his own since he was a boy, ends up beaten and dying in the woods he called home... when suddenly a voice pulls his attention away from the black pulling at his mind. "I can save you..." It spoke... Its voice like a song in the wind... magic in the air. He could feel the heat all around him as his vision blurred and darkened. "I can save you..." It repeated as this blurry figure bent down to look him over. "...but your life will belong to me... After all..." The figure slowly cleared enough, allowing Virgil to get a good look at the ethereal being before him, literally glowing in the night air. "You're the one who fell into my circle."

Thanks to SanderStalker, I was inspired to write my own Werewolf story... Here is it lolz! Virgil Dean was just some ordinary kid. Well, not... ordinary as in normal. He was what people would called an emo but he didn't care what others thought. He and his fathers had just moved into a new town when things started going on. Things happened there and Virgil was right in the center of it all. He was going to get to the bottom of it. When Virgil puts himself a little to close to the line of fire his world gets turn upside down. Will he push through with his new life... or with the light in it vanish like the new moon.

Virgil is going to a summer camp, he's nervous and just doesn't really want to go, he would much rather prefer staying at home and watching conspiracy theories on youtube and listening to music all summer (mood). But his dad sends him to camp anyways. He gets put in the same cabin as Roman Prince, the hot-theater-Disney-geek of the camp, Logan Cogn, the smartest dude in probably the whole state, and Patton Patterson, the literal embodiment of sunshine. A new era has dawned on Roman's kingdom, one that's he feels he's not entirely prepared for. He's used to riding horses into the sunset and attending balls while hoping he won't be forced into an arranged marriage, but now he's expected to learn about dragons and what it takes to ride one. He'll have to do that with the help of the new stable boy that was brought in to teach the other stable workers how to maintain the magnificent winged beasts, who unfortunately hates royalty. Not everything goes to plan when the two develop feelings for one another. This book is completed.
