I'd never been very outgoing or social. Being homeschooled and sheltered from the rest of society your whole life does that to a kid. It had always been just the water and I. Swimming brought me peace and comfort like nothing else. I was comfortable in my solitude. Then I met Nyx and she wrecked my whole damn world. She brought me to my knees with her lovely smile and I was in no position to fight it. Her boyfriends, Soren and Gage, made me a nervous wreck. Soren, the quiet and cold asshole, made my heart race out of my damn chest. His cruel smirk and crude words were unfamilar, but addicting. Gage was his complete opposite.
