After City Of Lost Souls, Sebastian, who had tried to make a evil army of shadow hunters, but luckily it failed, and Sebastian vanished in thin air. Everyone thought that he would never be heard or seen from again, but they were wrong. They find a note that says "I am coming," leaving them clueless, but later on they do find out that someone is back, and they want one more thing. Things are coming to a end, what will they do? This book takes place after CITY OF HEAVENLY FIRE. But it has a little twist to it. In the book CITY OF LOST SOULS, CHAPTER: 19 Love and Blood, Sebastian attempts to sexually abuse (RAPE) Clary, but we all know he doesn't succeed. My book alters that part. It takes that scene and changes it, making Sebastian succeed in the attempt of rape. In other more simpler ways it means that Sebastian raped Clary & she lied to Jace about it when he asked her. So what happens when 4 months after the rape & Sebastian's death she starts having some health problems? New people come into her life, Old ones too. If you want to find out more keep reading.

After Jace cheats on her, just because of one small fight, Clary leaves the city she's grown up in. After less than twelve hours, when she's at the point of getting killed by a demon she doesn't recognize, she is saved by the Delights. Fast, they become friends, family. She finds out about other things that have been going on in the Universe, apart from the wars she's been through. Things other than creatures of this world. Way darker secrets than she's used too. The Delights' leader, Delight, or so they call her, is one big secret to them all. Always wearing a black cloak, desperate to not show any skin. They do not know anything about her. But what they do know, is that the number of Sacra's is raising, and that they are the only ones that would be able to do something about it. So they go to New York City, Clary's hometown, because there are the most demons to be found, and killed.
