Lance was born with wings, just like half of the population of Earth. During all of their adventures through the universe not once did Lance feel like he was worth less than any of the other paladins. That is until they land on one such planet that only sees Lance as a pretty trophy to cart around. One of their demands for an alliance is for him to show off his wings in the city perched on the arm of the Black Paladin.

It was obvious that being split up into different wormholes shook them up, but the stories that they were able to tell after were priceless. Lance hung to every word that came from their mouths; so why do they think that everything that he told them was a lie? (Allura, Keith, and Pidge think that Lance is lying about saving a planet, they don't think that it would ever be possible for him.)

It was common on Earth for humans to grow up with wings. It was equally as common for humans to grow up without wings. In a world where it seemed like everyone was accepted, why were people like Lance considered monsters?

Lance had always known that someday his disorder was going to get the best of him. He worked extremely hard to be able to keep it under control and act normal, but sometimes it just isn't enough. Maybe he really was defective...

Everyday Lance went to each of his teammates and asked them a question. Everyday Lance was turned away by all but one of them. They didn't know what they were doing to Lance and only one person was going to be able to fix it.

Whenever Lance felt sick at home, he would find a small place to curl up until he felt better. Too bad the other paladins didn't know this when Lance suddenly goes missing.

Lance's life on Earth was never as great and happy as he always made it out to be. The team didn't know about the suffering and pain he went through on a daily basis, until one training exercise with the mind meld headbands.

Lance is used to being unappreciated on the team but he didn't think that the team would blatantly ignore the efforts that he put in.

Twelve days of Langstmas

All his life, Lance has kept his face hidden behind a mask. It helped him feel safe and in control of his emotions. Too bad when I say mask, I mean a real, white, expressionless mask that completely covered his face.
