Dean Winchester is, once again, new at a school. In fact, this is the third school he's been to this year. Dean expects the norm: girls worshipping him around every corner and no permanent friends. Nothing serious occurred, but Dean was required to spend the next few days under observation. While he is spending his time in the hospital of utter boredom, he meets Castiel, a young man the same age as him as a patient of cancer. Forming a quick bond, he begins visiting the boy even when he gets out, but is something more going on?

Castiel is a lonely depressed 15 year old, who believes that dating before you're 18 is the worst thing a teenager can do. He's also a writer and quite the character. One night when he decides to go on one of his night walks he breaks all his own rules and ends up with a mysterious 19 year old named Dean. What happens when it turns out Dean is his only friends big brother? And how will Cas deal with his own demons? And the ones facing him at home and at school?
