She was by her side when her dad passed when they were young, always letting Sue come sleep over her house when her step-dad was causing problems, she was there for her when her mother died a couple of years ago and she would be there for her through everything else, too. When things start to get rocky with Sue and her partner, the girls find themselves getting closer. Sue confide's in Emily like she always had and things become emotional and raw between them. They start seeing more of each other, causing more of a rift between Sue and Joshua. The girls become each other's escape from the world around them more than they've ever been and emotions start to get hot and heavy as their relationship with each other changes.
