Percy knelt before three of the gods. His hair was messy and his skin pale. His eyes were red rimmed and puffy and his cheeks tear stained. "Percy? What are you doing here so late?" Lady Hera asked. "I have a request." Percy said in a croaky voice. "Anything for the saviour of Olympus." Lady Hestia replied immediately. "I wish to die." When Annabeth breaks Percy's heart and turns everyone against him, he begs Artemis, Hestia and Hera to kill him. Not wanting their favourite hero to die, they give him a new purpose to live. As the hunts new guardian.

Now he has a decision, Become the Guardian of the hunt, or try and survive on his own. ***I know this has been done a multiple of times, I just wanted to make some of my own changes to the plot. Poseidon calls in a debt with Artemis to protect Percy when he is 6, and Artemis agrees reluctantly, and until he is 12, she protects him, honoring the debt, and does this by taking the form of a 6 year old mortal, and they become friends, which Artemis never expected. This makes their eventual separation when Percy turns twelve all the more painful. Artemis reveals her true form to him after he saves her from Mount Othrys, no longer being able to stay away from someone who'd become her closest friend and the two grow close once again. Eventually, a series of unexpected events occur, and a new threat is on the rise, and Percy is forced back into the divine world, and this threat makes the previous wars seem like the good old days. At times I know I've made pacing either too fast, or too slow, and things may seem rushed, or that they take forever, but I've done my best to write this as well as I could, this is also the first story I've written in First Person POVs, swapping mainly between Artemis and Percy, occasionally with other characters where it's relevant. Also this story is way longer than I intended it to be initially, mostly because I didn't have a plan, and also because after a certain point I just began saying "You know what? Fuck it. Why not" and adding a lot of stuff, so yeah there's a lot of different sub plots and storylines within this story, that's pretty much the main reason it's so long, I've done my best to make sure there are as few plot holes as possible, and that each arc ends properly, but there's probably still some.

With nothing left, he heads to Olympus to beg for death. When the gods deny him that, he takes the only option left and jumps from Olympus. A ship saves him and disapoears just as fast it appeared. Artemis and the Hunt has been hunting him for over four years, and she was beginning to think they would never find the demigod when they come under attack. Fortunately, the attack was beaten back by two individuals. They turn out to be Percy and Nebular Chaos, daughter of the creator Chaos.
