All her life, Lilah knew the role she was expected to play but could never quite get right. Deciding to put herself first, she left everything behind. Away from a controlling ex-fiance and the family she was never enough for, Lilah is slowly beginning to heal. Plagued by nightmares she flees to the quiet town that happens to be home of The Reaper's Guard MC. Trading her laptop for paint brushes, she is on a mission to find herself, no matter the cost. To most, juggling two jobs and a full course load would seem overwhelming, but to Lilah it means freedom to finally be herself. Everyone knows of Scythe, but nobody really knows him. Keeping to himself, the club enforcer is known by his reputation. Quiet, intense, and deadly, he sets everyone on edge. When it comes to torture, he is an artist. The echoes of his works line the walls, floor and ceiling of the clubhouse basement. When fate intervenes and these two broken souls meet, sparks fly. Unfinished business with a traitor has Scythe distracted when Lilah's past comes knocking. Will their fragile flame survive the aftermath?

Some boys want an audience. The right one learns to listen. When Eliana Cassabria-Prescott moves to Seabright Cove, she plans to disappear-just a girl, a guitar, and a bench with a view. Then quarterback Kason Barnes smiles like a promise, and suddenly senior year tastes like kettle corn, bonfires, and firsts you don't admit out loud. College at Ravenwell University should make everything bigger and brighter. Instead it makes the gaps louder: fundraisers, fraternities, "optics," and a best-friend cheer captain (Savannah) who treats history like a claim. One broken promise becomes two, then ten, and Eliana does the unthinkable-she stops translating apologies into love. Enter Hendrix McBride: smoky-voiced composer, two years ahead, boots and bad habits, the kind of steady that makes a room go quiet. He offers time instead of a spotlight, truth instead of performance, and a simple rule for music and everything else-leave air; the right notes will hold. Now Kason is chasing Eliana. Savannah is chasing Kason. And Eliana is done running-for anyone. Between a stadium that wants her on his arm and a practice room that wants her whole, she'll choose the life that hears her.

Cold. Bitter cold. When preparing myself for the cold Montana weather, I never could have anticipated the chill of Blake Westhollow. I'd spent my life surrounded by beauty, luxury, and control. First, tucked safely under my family's influence. Then, under the villain I'd dared call a lover. Now I was being traded away to cover my father's debts. Promised to a man I've never met. Blake was everything people admired, the definition of respectable. A golden boy. The kind of man built from awards, perfect grades, charity work, and polite smiles. Clean-cut. Predictable. Safe. In other words, the kind of man who bored me before I had even arrived. If I didn't die from the horrific Arctic cold, surely the boredom of married life to that man would kill me. Turns out that Blake Westhollow wasn't clean cut in the least. Whatever golden boy veneer he'd once worn had lost its polish, now buried under something darker and far more dangerous. He wasn't safe. He wasn't gentle. And he definitely wasn't bright and boring. Which was unfortunate... because I had always had a weakness for dark, dirty things.

April I fight fires for a living-but I've never felt more burned than I did that night. As a forest ranger, I live on the edge of danger and calm. My body is strong, my will even stronger, but that doesn't mean I'm unbreakable. I thought love-real love-would see through the scars I keep hidden beneath my uniform. I thought Ellis saw me. Understood me. But all it took was one careless sentence. One drunken confession echoing through a baby monitor, turning a celebration into a battlefield. He humiliated me in front of everyone-my friends, my chosen sisters, myself. And now I'm standing in the ashes of something I thought would last forever, wondering if I've been lying to myself about what love really looks like. Ellis I was drunk. Stupid. Thoughtless. It was just a conversation. Boys being boys, joking around in a room where I thought no one could hear. But they did. She did. And I said things I can't take back. I don't even recognize the man who said them-because that man humiliated the strongest, most loyal, most incredible woman he's ever known. April is the kind of woman who runs toward danger. Who holds broken branches like they're bones and brings people back from the edge. And I crushed her with words. Now I'd do anything-everything-to take it back. But the damage is done. And I'm not sure I deserve to be the one who tries to fix it.
