It's been 5 years since One Direction went on a hiatus. The boys all are successful and happy in their solo careers and have kept in touch. That is, other than Harry. Harry's extremely successful but he's not happy and he's never felt so lonely. The break hit him hardest as he had grown up with the 4 boys as his role models, but once they went on a break, they stopped talking. Harry and Niall discover the Pensive while escaping filch in the Room of Requirement and it appears someone is already using it. Without meaning too, Harry finds himself obsessed with the pensive and all the memories of the mysterious person that all seem to be focused on him.

Louis had succeeded in killing himself once, all be it for three minutes, the best three minutes of his life. But after that, he can't seem to die, most people call him lucky, he doesn't think he is. He joined the police to put his some what immortality you use, all the while trying to find his heaven, but then he thinks he may have just found it in the boy with hard, cold eyes that's hair curls and he just so happens to be sat on Louis bench.

Louis is a Journalist and Harry is a Vet and avid protester. They are put together to work on exposing a zoo. They go undercover and expose feelings for each other as well as the Zoo's poor performance.

Harry is accident prone and Louis is a volunteer minor emergency worker. They meet a lot and things happen.

Louis leaves for another business trip, and Harry can't help but feel lonely without him.
