Jennie feels as if she traveled through time. She graduated from high school and the next morning, she wakes up in a hospital at 34 years old. She can't remember what happened and nobody will tell her anything. She has to piece together her missing life... One with a beautiful woman whom she doesn't remember. But she still hopes that one day she'll get over what happened and find love. Lisa and Rosie, her best friends, book her a flight to paradise (against her will) so that she can relax. But as soon as she gets there.... A woman asks her for help because she thinks someone in her family is trying to kill her. So if she gets a speeding ticket, her bank warned her that everything she had would be seized. So she looks at the cop dead in the eye... And says that she has a wife. She goes to a nearby hospital and picks up Kim Jisoo, a genius science professor. And despite that, she still plays along with Jennie's ruse. Except she's a robot (metaphorically). She shows no emotion. No Happiness. No Sadness. Not even a hint of a smile. But maybe Jennie can pull her out of her shell and in love? I'll teach you.- Jisoo smiles openly, trying to see in the brown-haired girl's face, at least a small hint of joy, but alas, she still sees the empty look of bottomless eyes.

A divorce would give me closure at least. Then I wouldn't have to deal with my wife abandoning me for 5 years. Everything is fine. My life is perfect without her. I'm living on my own with my daughter and my best friend as my roommate (although she never sleeps at my place because of her girlfriend). I am perfectly content. But something strange happens and the normally gloomy days of Weathering Town suddenly turn even grimmer. And the answer to my burning question... Can be extinguished in the depths of the ocean. Excerpt: "It's 10 in the night. No one should be here...much less ring my doorbell. I go to the kitchen and grab my knife. I hear pounding on my door and I grip the knife tighter in my fist. I go forward and peek through the hole in the door. The knife falls out of my hand and I rip the door open. Standing there, completely drenched with jeans and a black T-shirt with her favorite leather jacket and her hair completely wet is... "Jisoo?" She smiles, her dark eyes glinting and staring into me.
