Shadow Branwen is Ruby and Yang's brother, he is older than Ruby but is younger than Yang. He was experimented on by his birth father, but when Raven found out what he was doing, she took Shadow away from him and gave him to Qrow. Certain people took a great interest in Shadow because of his powers. Shadow gets accepted into Beacon Academy with his sisters to become a huntsman, like Qrow.

They are in a new and strange world and try to find a way back home, but this world is far more dangerous than it looked and not a simple fairy tail.
