Except for the unexpected visit from the figurative angel of doom, more interested in playing a twisted game of cat and dog than having a tea party like any visitor should. In this thrilling tale of the hate that abides in love, the truth sheltered in lies and secrets dancing in the open, Grace would understand that the greatest of her fears should be love. ____________ 𝐀 𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫. Even worst, Giwa Falade, Miss Queen Bee, pulls herself right into it. All in all, these teenagers are in for an experience of a lifetime. The fight to save Oceana has only just begun. Valory, Arden, and the mercenary crew of Windjammer return to the capital to learn that the alliance marching against them is far darker than they had feared. Contract-bound, Valory fulfills his late father's wishes and sails for Anaphe to prepare the city for siege. While spies and loyalists slither through his court, an army of twisted creatures advances upon Anaphe's walls, the likes of which haven't been seen for generations. Meanwhile, Arden travels westward in a bid to win an unprecedented alliance that could either save Anaphe from collapse -- or bring Windjammer to ruin. The road back to the city proves to be no easy one, however, for their enemy lies closer to home than they ever could have imagined.
