Harlan has a unique power, one that makes him see things others cant, and therefore got him thrown in an asylum when he was only a child. Now he's a reluctant hero, thrust into the profession since he lacked any other option. He's amazing at his job, and six years into his work, is the sidekick to one of the most notable heroes of his generation: Lavina. Unfortunately, he also hates being a hero, but there's one thing that makes it worth it. The numbered. A series of villains who appeared out of nowhere and have an exceptional skill at avoiding the law, heroes, and just generally winning or evading consequences. Consequences, which are the only part of Harlan's job he enjoys. Harlan wants to find the root of it all more than anything, and he's beginning to get close. He intends to find out at any cost. He intends to win at any cost. That, he's sure of. His drive is unmatched. Until something entirely foreign to him gets involved: Feelings. [WARNINGS: smut, gore, swearing, some heavy topics, morally grey characters (the usual)]

Desmond Crenshaw doesn't have much going for him. He street races for cash, deals drugs to get by, and drags himself through each day with only one goal: survival. He's a reckless high school dropout with very few talents that won't get him arrested-definitely not someone you'd want around your child. Vaughn Torres agrees, he's been seeking a solid reason to cut off the friendship between the troublemaker and his daughter since the day they met. He gets one, too, when Des's vices begin to bleed into their lives and Winter is officially in danger. Des is given an ultimatum: he can only be around Winter if he distances himself from the crime. There's only one way to do that. A change of employment, specifically to Vaughn's mechanic shop, though that balance is a lot easier said than done. No, things for Des are never that simple. Not when he's working under the watchful eye of a man who hates him. Not when he starts genuinely wanting to be better, and is faced with the rocky road of leaving a life of crime entirely. And especially not when he's been in love with Winter's dad for years.

Robin Rose doesn't know a lot of stuff, despite being two months out from his high school graduation. However, there is one thing he is absolutely sure of: nobody can know that he is an omega. Not his bully, not his classmates, not his friends, not anybody he may meet in the future, and especially-above all-not his alpha best friend, Jude Silas. Robin just can't risk it. He lives in a world where being a male omega is so frowned upon that it has torn families apart. It's ruined relationships-friendships, most importantly. Robin absolutely refuses to tell anybody, no matter how many lies he has to keep straight in the process. His plans of taking this secret to his grave are going swimmingly, with a few minor hiccups. Robin is completely prepared to take suppressants and scent blockers the rest of his life, and just pretend like he never presented. He will be careful about this. Nobody will know. He's so close to finishing high school-to entering a new chapter of his life. It's all going to work out... As long as he remembers to take his medicine. [] [] [] Rankings: #1 LGBT #1 bxb #1 omegaverse #3 teen fiction !!WARNINGS: smut and swearing, and there's also an incident with drugging though it's nothing graphic. I'm pretty sure that's it tbh. Also the mc is really stupid if that matters. [[TEMPORARY BREAK UP/5 YEAR EPILOGUE TIME SKIP]] I'd also like to specify that I did not put much effort into this story since the entire reason I wrote it was to get over writer's block for another book, so if you're thinking about leaving criticism you should probably know I'm already well aware of all of its flaws. Thank you:)
