He was taller, I noticed. His hair cut shorter than the last time I saw him. His face was still the same though, ready to break into a smile in a second. My sentence trailed off because we both knew my answer. "You know what Gem? I don't want to know, really I don't." His back tensed as he tilted his head back, letting out a sigh through his nose. "Just tell me one thing. Out of everything, all the time we spent together and all the things we said, did you mean any of it?" "I meant all of it. Every word." My abrupt answer caused him to finally look up at me, brown eyes meeting my golden ones. Recognition flashed on them as his jaw went slack. "Every word, Romeo."
