"Your resume says your main achievement is... finishing a rubber before losing it because you are awesome." "Yep!" "Your personality type says you are... sassy, hot and cool (more than anyone here) at the same time because you are awesome? That's a challenge." He smirked as he raised his perfect eyebrow. I nodded dumbly. And then I heard him mumbling," Never knew a Smurfs' T shirt was that hot with red pants..." "Your special education says... you were in Hogwarts?" His eyes opened wide. "Yo!" "And your interests says you want to go home and watch Ironman because you didn't want to apply for this job anyway and you are forced..." "You got me right boy!" I pointed at him with my finger. But then he said the three words I never expected to hear. "You're hired, hobo."

At 25, Bria Roy had fought her way to NYU, proving herself worth every cent her parents reluctantly spent on her education. Growing up in a small California town where ambition was stifled, she vowed to escape and build a life on her own terms. NYU was her chance, and she poured all her energy into academics, avoiding anything that might derail her focus. Parties, friends, and relationships were distractions she couldn't afford. Beneath her quiet resilience was a tender heart she rarely showed. Her carefully controlled life revolved around hard work and solitude-until one ordinary afternoon in a café changed everything. Zane Black, 32, was the epitome of privilege: a millionaire playboy with fast cars, faster women, and a knack for making headlines. But his gilded life shattered when his older brother and sister-in-law died in a car crash, leaving their infant daughter in his care. Unprepared for fatherhood and grieving, Zane was thrust into a role he never imagined. Now, he struggled to balance running the business empire he and his brother built with the delicate responsibility of raising a child, searching for purpose in a life that once thrived on excess. __ One afternoon, Bria sat in a bustling café, her mind foggy from back-to-back exams. The sharp cry of a baby broke through her exhaustion, pulling her attention to a tiny infant wailing in a bassinet near the entrance. The man beside the child-a tall figure in a tailored suit-looked helpless as his efforts to soothe her failed. Before Bria knew it, she was on her feet. Kneeling by the bassinet, her soft whispers and gentle touch quieted the baby almost instantly. When she looked up, she met the man's piercing gaze-equal parts gratitude and something unspoken. In that moment, an ordinary encounter sparked the beginning of something extraordinary. Bria had a feeling their paths would cross again.

(Can be read as a standalone.) My parents are hell bent on getting me married, convinced that a wife will magically "fix" me. As a mafia leader, idle talks and constant affection makes no sense to me. Never had and never will. Thanks to some dumb rule and my parents' constant nagging, I settle down with the girl of their choice. Irene's the type of girl I would never give a second glance to, the type I would deem average looking. And that's just not it. She's a chatter box who can't survive without physical affection. A complete opposite of me. I never had a need for a wife but with every innocent touch, every stupid smile, every word of hers my walls break down until I am left yearning for her with an intensity I can't even comprehend.

How could I not fall for him- Lowell Knight, my dangerously irresistible adopted brother? At 18, I was tossed into living with the most seductive man I'd ever laid eyes on. It's forbidden, sinful- but I couldn't stop the heat building between us. I hid my desire- kept it from our parents, from him, and especially from his girlfriend. "C- Can you move b- back a little?" My words made him smirk and if it's even possible, he came closer. Why do I always have to stuck between him and the desk?! "Why? Am I making you nervous?" "No." I lied. Ofcourse, he was making me nervous. His eyes had the power to hold a person on his place and that's what his eyes were doing to me. "Really?" He asked, putting his hands on my waist and pulling me closer towards him. On instinct, I put my hands on his chest. I didn't like it. I didn't like the way my body was responding to his touches. "T- This is un- unprofessional." I choked out the words, but I wish I couldn't have. He brought his face closer, so close that I could feel his minty breath on my lips. My lips parted accordingly in shock. "Oh, is it?" He said, mockingly. Oh god! What have I gotten myself into? •••• Aaron Steele, the CEO of the multi billionaire Steele's Company was the eligible bachelor of 25. He always had his way among girls and having blue eyes, a chiseled jaw and a hot body, didn't help either. With new woman on her arms every other day, he was obviously not planning on falling on that cliché word also called love, but would his thoughts of not falling in love still remain the same, after meeting her? Sienna Collins was a girl of 22 with extremely shy personality. After completing her graduation, the only thing in her mind was to get a good job and settle on her own, but what she didn't expected was a job at Steele's Company. This is a story of the innocent and the sinful. Read inside to find out what happens when two persons from exactly opposite worlds collide together. #I would suggest 14+ to read this story as some part in the book contains mature scenes. ~ # 37 in Romance #12 in humor *I am not a grammer nazzy, so there would be grammatical mistakes.*

Emma van der Bilt is clever, snarky, and spoiled rotten. William Knight is cocky, impatient, and slightly dimwitted. So how exactly did Will manage to kidnap Emma and her best friend twice and live to talk about it? *** "What the hell-" I screeched. "Good morning, sunshine." I looked up in alarm and saw the smirking face of my kidnapper. His face would have made me a lot angrier had it not been terribly swollen, thanks to yours truly. "I'd say good morning, but judging by the boner on your face, I'd say you weren't having such a good morning." His self-satisfied smirk fell almost instantly, and his partner-in-crime laughed out loud from the driver's seat. "Actually," he said, "I'm having a pretty good morning. My luck's about to change. You wanna know why?" I didn't answer. "I'll tell you why. I've successfully kidnapped the daughter of one of the richest men in the country." "Don't start counting your lucky stars just yet. This isn't over yet," I snapped. "Isn't it?" he asked, raising the eyebrow above his good eye. His other one remained in a permanent squint, and it made it kind of hard to take him seriously. "I'm not the one who's naked and tied up in a stranger's back seat." I glanced down at myself and noticed for the first time that I was in my bra and panties. Honestly, I was kind of relieved. When he'd said "naked," I'd assumed he meant birthday-suit naked, not half-naked. *** Warning: Rated PG-13 for sexual content and language. Mostly language. I have a colorful vocabulary.

We stared at each other for a while, neither wanting to give in to the other. His cold blue eyes stared deep into my soul, as my brown ones stared into his. Although I don't know the owner to these gorgeous blue eyes, I feel as if I've met him before. It must have been in another life cause I'd definitely remember him. __________________________________ "C'mon baby doll, you wouldn't make anything that could possibly kill me, right?" He shakily asks me. "Of course not..." I tell him, letting my sarcastic side show. "But Ave, if you kill me, who else are you going to cuddle with at night?" He teases. "Okay, that was one time!! And I was extremely dunk, so I don't even remember what happened that night, and I don't ever want to know." I yell, trying to reason with him. He walks close, only a few centimeters away from my face, our breaths mixing. "You wouldn't miss me?" He asks with a whisper. Feeling daring, I peck his lips. "Of course I would dumby. And I'm not going to kill you. Why would I do that? I am simply going to make you a smoothie, and you are going to pretend it's the worst thing ever. Got it?" I tell him, feeling like an evil mastermind with the plan. He has a stupid grin on his face, and kisses me. • • • THIS BOOK IS CRUSTY AS HELL. READ AT YOUR OWN RISK. "Stop messing with me." He threatened through his teeth, his breathing as erratic as mine. I let out a stifled laugh. "Or else?" He inhaled deep through his nose, poked the inside of his cheek, as if he was trying to make a tough decision, all the while keeping such an intense stare on my eyes, it was almost uncomfortable. "I won, so you stop." James' mouth was so close, I could feel his words in mine. "Think again, Jamesie." I raised my left hand to his throat, holding the same dagger I had knocked out of his hand before. In the middle of all the rolling around, I'd managed to catch it. A strike of luck, really. James grunted a labored sigh and inched even further towards me. "You're fucking impossible..." His eyes flicked over to my lips. I felt my stomach tingle. "You're heavy." I complained, my voice a little more than a rasp. His index finger grazed on my jaw. "You can take it." [---] My life was perfectly fine. Adoptive daughter of a millionaire, unofficial leader of a team of private security, friend to many unstable, skilled fighters, free as a little bird to do whatever I wanted - as long as I kept it out of the media's scent. Then along came James Fucking Blackwell to ruin everything. Just because I happened to rescue him during my time as an asset for the US Army, the damn asshole convinced himself I was some sort of angel and wouldn't leave me alone. I hated him. Kinda.
