Carter Conners was a magnet for trouble, if she didn't actively seek it, then it would probably find her one way or another. It was a miracle she hadn't been arrested. But that didn't matter, because she still managed to find herself with a one-way ticket to a planet that had been marinating in radiation for 97 years. Now just throw in some uncontrollable delinquents, a tyrant with a track record of an asshole, and a few native inhabitants of Earth that want them dead and what do you have? Chaos. You have utter chaos. Maybe a little anarchy too. And just when Carter thought it couldn't get any worse, it did, because this was her. Survival of the fittest meant everything, and Carter learned that the hard way. Nothing except a faint outline of the girl I was before I lost everything. The only thing to keep me company is the hum of the generators outside my cell. I was supposed to die, everyone here was supposed to die. That's how things work on the Ark. Any crime is punishable by death, and even with the slight chance that you'll be freed, no one would ever look at you the same. But that was before... Some would say that we were given a second chance. Others said that we were expendable. But nonetheless, we were sent to Earth. 100 of us, sent to a radiation soaked planted, destroyed by nuclear war. They said it'd be another fifty years before anyone could set foot on the planet.
