Very short poem about destruction of hope

Flint has no idea what he has gotten himself into when he defends his own pack against another Alpha. Thrown into wolf politics he has now become the Alpha of Hanging Rock pack, trouble is he doesn't know them, and there is a mysterious lone female roaming near his territory. Who is she and why is he drawn to her? Will he be accepted as Alpha or will he be challenged and killed?

I'm starting out my life as a ghost, or un-life I should say. Dying was possibly the best thing that happened to my life, it made me wake up and smell the roses, but, those roses had died. Now it seems my epiphany has been a complete waste of time. I can see people, but they can't see me. Wait, why is he staring at me...?
