Bibliophile - a person who collects or has a great love of books. * * * * Nicholas loves to read. It is his passion, his source of air, his world. He'd lose himself among the pages of an alternate reality. It is his daily routine, so getting a job at the library is the next best thing. The problem? Well, Nicholas doesn't know except for the fact that he's never happy. Without books, he'd never feel anything. That is until one fateful day he meets a girl who is willing to show him what it really feels like to be happy. Not just any girl, but a fandom obsessed Muslim girl. "I was broken. Nothing, no one could fix me. Until you came into my life again. I wish I had gone with you that day instead of him. Because, now I can't imagine how I spent the previous years of my life without you by my side. You are my savior. You showed me that its okay to be broken and you showed me that I wasn't alone. You were with me. i love you for that. But I hate that I love you. I was never good with love. I'm scared that one day I'll wake up without you by my side. One day you will realize that you are better off without me and I don't want that day to come. Not now, not ever. I love you too much to let you go. I finally have a place in this world and that is next to you. You once said, 'Our mistakes compliment each other.' Truer words than these were never said before. We are both broken and incomplete but together, we're whole and we're fixed. We might be too bad for the others, but we are good for each other. They say all good things come to an end, but I'm bad and so are you. Together, we are horrible. But that just means that we're inevitable. You are mine and I promise to forever be yours." If you're judging this book by its cover and title, you're already proving the point this story wants to make. Try to move past this satirical obstacle in front of you. This is a story about bullying, and like the hundreds of other books on the topic, it will show you the harsh reality of being discriminated, belittled, ridiculed for something you cannot control- how you look, who you love, or what you believe in. But unlike these books, this story's sole purpose is not to tear your heart out of your chest as you mourn over your loss of faith in humanity. Instead, this book will make you laugh and love alongside these characters. Just like in life, there will be moments of dread and surrender, but there will also be moments of happiness, laughter, and love. - Naomi Lorraine, better known as Nerdy Naomi with her thick-rimmed glasses and straight-A report card, is the most unpopular girl in her school. Even with the help of her sarcastic comebacks, that doesn't stop her from getting bullied by everyone in Dartwell High. Every day her childhood bully, Raymond Meyers, knocks her off her feet, literally. However, she can't do anything but survive the laughs, insults, and bruises high school gives her. There are three senior transfer students, dubbed the Three Musketeers: Bennett Frazier, Jordan Wallace, and Declan Lynch. All in one day, Naomi catches their attention one by one. With her snarky attitude, but innocent look, they can't help but want her. But not the way you're thinking. Oh no, not like that. Instead, it's probably the whole opposite. It's quite simple really. She'll be their good girl. And they'll be her bad boys. ~ [This story is a first draft written by a 13 to 15-year-old girl so it has its fair share of grammar mistakes and plot holes.] Wattys 2015 Talk of the Town Award Second Place Story of 2015 Best Humor and Overall Points of The Fiction Awards 2016 Third in the Writers Awards 2016 Highest Ranks: #1 Humor, #1 Teen Fiction

Love quotes? You have come to the right place my friend. Like a lot of readers/nerds/internet addicts I am in love with some of the quotes I find from places like TV shows, books, bands, inspirational famous people, and the like. You'll find some insults and comebacks floating around in here too somewhere, which I give you all permission to use against people that probably deserve being taken down a notch! *Also, if people have any requests, feel free to message me and I'll probably get round to doing it like two or three months later :) I'll dedicate the chapter you requested to you as well :)*

My thoughts in poems. I'm not suicidal or even truly unhappy. I'm just confused and lost and I hope someone out there understands. These are the everyday thoughts I have that float around in my mind. This is my life, in poems. I like my poems and I hope you do too. Comment, vote, enjoy! New cover made by AyaPotter. Cute, hmm? Update: I was 14 as I began this book. I am now 17. My views have changed since beginning this collection and it would be much appreciated if you, reader, would keep that in mind while reading. I don't like editing after I've written and most of this has remained untouched since publication. We all change though. These are feeling in moments of passion, not utter truth, and no, not brilliance despite what I've been told. I know otherwise. Do not fall fate to the trap of these words and think everything through before accepting any of someone else's opinion even if it sounds good and true the first time reading or hearing it. I am not perfect by far and I've made mistakes. ALWAYS keep this in mind. 2020 edit: I'm going on 22 now, and honestly I wish I had the spunk of when I was 17. Hot damn. Also I'm transgender and at the time of writing this, I hadn't come out or even found out that was possible so there's a lot of misgendering of myself that I'm editing. I don't edit usually but I'm sick of people calling me she in the comments. They or he please. 2022: they/them only now please. He/him pronouns are pissing me off lately.

As a Muslim girl, marriage is one of Safia's biggest dreams. All her life she kept herself pure for her faith and her future husband. Although having never had experienced love, and occasionally doubting whether she will, Safia feels herself growing impatient being single. She then sends her family to search for 'the one.' Trusting her family, she decides to say yes to the first person her family finds for her. She believes she will get married and face all her problems with her husband by her side. Is it really as simple as that? Yusuf feels a void in his heart. He tries to deny it, but he knows his mother's not proud of him. He knows she wishes he could be a little more modern like his brother. He wanted his family to find him a wife while he could focus on his deen (faith), but his idea of a wife clashes with his mother's. Seeing that his family were struggling to find him someone he likes, he decides to take matters into his own hands. But is he rushing into decisions without thinking?
