Possibly being the most powerful being, he had the ability to canonically kill people; but he could save them too. And somehow, he managed to attach himself to a mortal. No reason or rhyme to it, he was a mortal... but... there was something about the way he smiled that reduced the all powerful God to a flustered pile of happy goo.
