Kami Black has just moved to the Vally. Her mother, Michelle has just gotten a new job there. There, Kami meets Zander Soal. Along the way she meets bullies, Jennifer Adams and her little Cobra Kai gang, friends, crush's and old karate champions. Daniel LaRusso, former karate champion, has been living a boring and normal life. After winning all those fights, it goes straight to his head and ego. After his wife leaves him, his life becomes a mess. Daniel starts drinking and works as a maintenance guy. When Kami meets Daniel, she sees him as another problem. But after he saves her from Cobra Kai, he helps her learn Karate. Will Kami learn how to defend herself? Will Daniel really teach her how to defend herself? Or just use her to get his work done?

Never being home, always running off with the guys she meets, leaves the brothers free to do whatever. Their lives are pretty shitty, until they meet Daniel LaRusso. He turns their life back on track. Well it was back on track, until new people show up, causing problems with the brothers. But things get particularly bad when Rocky stands up for Miguel, the brothers, or rather Robby's, enemy. That results in a fatal accident. After that day, the brothers were never the same. Fights, screaming matches, and insult battles are always breaking out when the two interact. But they have to get along again, right? They need each other, don't they?
