You escaped the Glade with some of the Glader's.Life has going to get better now.At least, that's what everyone thought.Then, you get woken up in your sleep and assume it's Teresa.Instead, it's a boy you've definitely never seen before.After a little bit of arguing and him being shoved against a wall you learn that they boy you already dislike is named Aris.He's the least of your problems though.After finding out your trapped in what was supposed to be a safe place the work begins all over again.In the meantime you have one other goal. Get rid of that feeling of knowing Aris, and even worse, wanting to be close to him.After all, you've never met him before. What about Aris's side? He had escaped his maze only to be put on another mission before he could even blink.This one's worse than the others, but it's also more important.This meant he couldn't afford to be distracted or slip.Unfortunately, even after years, you still have the affect of making him want nothing more than to tell you everything.That's why he tries to be unbearably hateable or at the very least see you that way. As he expected deep down it failed, and you were pulling him in again.The worst part is you don't even know, and even when this is over, you never will. You'll never truly know what went on all those nights ago in WICKED between a variable and a worker.

Y/N's life is simple seeing as there aren't any emotions to complicate it. As a child WCKD ripped her away from her family. From there they did every new experiment imaginable. She was the ultimate test subject. All because she didn't seem to react when they shot her mother. The truth is as a child in a cruel world who just didn't know how. They didn't see it that way though. She was nothing more than an experiment. Now she's unable to feel emotions. Or so she was convinced. Then, she's made to interview him. Aris seemed to pull her in. For some reason her heart didn't seem completely frozen when he was around. Is it enough to listen to his advice and make it out though?

She was practically cursed to be someone to look out for since birth. Having lived her entire life in the Scorch, she was on edge, paranoid, and was always prepared to kill. Even if it made her enemies, she did what she had to to survive. Aris knew nothing about that sort of lifestyle. His Maze and two weeks out there didn't make him cold. It didn't make him so dangerous that getting close to someone would risk their lives. She did though. She was like that, so when this random boy she had a terrible first impression with told her to stay in the Safe Haven, she wasn't eager to take it. Not at all. Even if it was her only chance of normalcy. Even if it was her only chance of falling in love.

We all know the story about how everyone fought to get to the Safe Haven, with a majority of them not making it.What if nobody made it though?What if there were only five people in all of WICKED left, locking themselves underground for the rest of time? Well, you don't have to imagine it.It's more than real.With you, Aris, Teresa, and Thomas being the last one's left, everyday remains the same.The Double T's have their room, while Aris and you stay in yours, trapping yourselves in solitude and safety.After everything that happened it's your only choice if you want to see another day. While there though, you can't help but find yourself looking at Aris, admiring and observing him, for longer than you should.You can't fall though.You've already lost too many people.Losing him would be a final straw and a recipe for disaster. Life though, has never gone the way it should, and neither will denying these feelings.
