Après 7 mois passés dans la souffrance tant pour Emily que pour tous les autres membres de l'équipe, Doyle est enfin arrêté et tué. Derek and Emily are starting to feel more heavily attracted to each other. What happens then when the decide enough is enough and they go for each other?

Derek has a new girlfriend, but when Emily returns to the BAU, his old feelings for her start to resurface. There are more shocks in store however when the secrets of both Derek's new love and his old flame are revealed. Derek has a choice to make ... but what will he decide???
