Assigned to children at young ages, they live for as long as they are remembered by the child, which usually lasts for six years. The exception to this rule is Killua, the imaginary friend to Gon. Having lived for years past the average, he has to face some things that other figments would never have to; be offered something that both he and Gon never thought would be possible. (Based off of a prompt I saw about being reincarnated as child's imaginary friend and gave it my own spin) (Short story, gonna be pretty damn fast paced)

Tanjirou knew something was wrong the second the smell hit him, well two smells to be exact.He'd been stopped when he'd smelt something very distressing, it was a demon but there seemed to be another scent. It smelled of a human that seemed to be calm for the most part but was dangerously close to the former scent. On instinct Tanjirou immediately ran off into the nearby woods towards the scent with a million scenarios running through his mind. ---- "I tried to get him help but those guys just told me to give up on him! This story is about how pathetic Killua's life is. He has a big crush on Gon, but won't admit it because he's afraid Gon might not feel the same way. He's always staring at Gon's "perfect" body and daydreaming about him. It's so obvious that he's into guys, but he keeps on insisting that he's not gay, that he just has high standards, "Like being a guy" is one. He's is overprotective of Gon because he doesn't want to share him with anyone else, and wants him all to himself. Gon doesn't mind, because he also loves Killua, but wants to see how long he would last until he gives in, and confesses to him. But this was taking too long, so Gon decided to give Killua a push, and started to date someone. He knows Killua is insanely jealous, but is it enough to get him to come out into the (gay) light?

Gon constantly wonders the woods by his house on Whale Island. The older he gets, the farther he travels in, and one day, he stumbles onto something he knows shouldn't be that so deep in the forest - ripped children's clothes. His curiosity eventually gets the better of him and he travels deeper and deeper to where he shouldn't be.
