Michael's in love with Ashton but he thinks Ashton will never love him back, so he has a girlfriend to try and get rid of the feelings. Luke comforts Ashton whereas Calum scolds Michael. Ashton and Michael both believe it's too late.

This is a story about a teen boy, sent away to a camp in a vain attempt by his father to "get the gay out of him." So Ashton was sent so a gay camp.
