I challenged myself to write a hurt comfort story because I've never tried it. I hope it went well. Spoilers for Danganronpa Trigger Happy Havoc, by the way. Also posted on AO3! "AHH-!" Makoto screamed before getting stabbed in the stomach, killing him instantly. Black. All he saw was black. He then heard.. voices? "Makoto! You woke up!" Sayaka? Sayaka took the mysterious item off of Makoto face, making him finally able to see again. "Sayaka? What the?" "It was all a simulation! Come here, we can see what's happening over here!" Sayaka dragged Makoto over to the giant screen, displaying Makoto's lifeless body. Trigger warnings! There are many layers to Byakuya Togamis personality. But underneath all of that, he feels empty. Much like a matyroshka. Makoto Naegi is an average boy who just had some really good luck. He is also a ray of sunshine who loves to cheer people up and make them happy.

So, first of all. This is a story about Rantaro, Shuichi, and Kokichi, in a world without the killing game, and they happened to be roommates, they are not ultimates, so basically pre-killing game versions of themselves, the way I interpret their characters. Also, they will eventually become a polyamorous relationship. (Only polyamory ships I ship XD.)
