It has been nearly eighteen years since Kota saved Eirenae. Eighteen years since Eirenae found her voice, broke free from her captivity, and aided in the defeat of her perpetrator and the scattering of his little band of hunters. Now, their daughter, Emerald, is coming of age to write her own story, find her mate, and lead her pack going forward. Except Emerald doesn't want her written fate. She wants to be alpha and lead her pack as grandly as her father has, and she doesn't want a mate. Unfortunately for her plans, the Moon Goddess has paired her up, not only with a mate, but another alpha. Resisting is torture, as her soul calls out for his, and he doesn't understand her hesitation. As she keeps her distance, she physically weakens, deteriorating faster than werewolfly possible. In her depleted state, she's snatched from school and taken to her infamous grandmother's house-the palace-by two of the Royal guard. There, she learns more about herself, her species, her pack, and her heritage. But the other packs are desperate to get Eirenae onto the throne that is technically rightfully hers. The frustration-along with the kidnapping of the royal granddaughter-may just start a new kind of turmoil no one has really prepared for. Which War will be fatal, ending in disaster? Emerald's mental battle against her own feelings for her mate? Or the physical war the werewolf kingdom has been sucked into? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ -Book 2 -Succeeds "Silent Luna" -Precedes "Hidden Fox" -Started: April 2nd, 2019 -Completed: April 19th, 2020 -#11 in Telekinesis 4/25/2020 -#1 in Bloodshed 5/22/2020 -#2 in alphasmate 3/15/2023 REWRITE -Succeeds "Breaking the Silence" -Precedes "Hidden Fox" -Started: February 9th, 2023 -Completed: September 4th, 2023 -Published: February 29th, 2024 #2 in Paperback 12/19/24

❝ This is the closest I'll ever get to flying. ❞ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ No one can fully understand the truth ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ behind a girls suicide, unless the girl ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ who jumped actually tells you the full ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ story. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But that's impossible because she's ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ dead. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But what if she could tell you why she ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ killed herself? Would you be willing to ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ listen? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Well, I'm Amber Fields. And this is why I ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ jumped. This story describes the ten days before Amber committed suicide. Do not read if you are triggered by suicide or cutting. This story contains a small amount of romance. This is not meant to romanticize suicide in any way. Edited✔️

I was the 6th-grade "slut." And I kept a diary. So I decided to create The UnSlut Project in the hopes that my own diary entries could provide some perspective to girls who currently feel trapped and ashamed. I am publishing these entries one at a time, without changing a single word except for the names of the people involved. My limited commentary, which is confined to brackets in each entry, is meant to provide the relief of my current perspective, fifteen years later. The UnSlut Project: Working to undo the dangerous slut shaming in our schools, communities, media, and culture by sharing knowledge and experiences.

This is the original, unedited version of Light as a Feather, Book #1. This book was the inspiration for the Hulu Original Series. The revised version is now available in bookstores throughout the USA & Canada from Simon Pulse. McKenna Brady thinks her junior year of high school is going to be the best ever when she's welcomed into the elite group of popular girls at Weeping Willow High School led by blonde, gorgeous Olivia Richmond. Prior to junior year, McKenna was known in her small town as the girl whose twin sister died in a tragic house fire, and she's overjoyed at the prospect of redefining her identity. She has a date to the Homecoming dance with Olivia's handsome older brother, and a good chance of being elected to student council. For the first time since McKenna's parents divorced, things are looking up. But everything changes the night of Olivia's Sweet Sixteen sleepover birthday party. Violet, the shy, mysterious new girl in town, suggests that the girls play a scary game called Light as a Feather, Stiff as a Board, during which Violet makes up elaborate stories about the future ways in which beautiful Olivia, brassy Candace, and athletic Mischa will die. The game unsettles McKenna because she's already escaped death once in her life, but she doesn't want to ruin her friends' fun. It's only a game, she reminds herself.
