Delaney Kane was young when she left the safety of the Ark. Even so, she remembered what happened when she landed. She remembered being taken from the pod and brought into someones home. She remembered living. Delaney knew it was her blood that saved her life, but she did not complain. Instead, she learned the way of Trigedakru. She learned how to survive on the ground with the people that saved her. There came a day, though, when her people from the sky came down. They landed in the forest near where she had originally landed. She was curious, but her new people were afraid. She tried to help keep the peace.
